PICO CANYON, Los Angeles County — Residents and visitors to Pico Canyon Park should note that its winter operating schedule took effect on November 1, 2026.

Los Angeles County lists daily park hours of 6:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. from November through February, compared with longer summer access. Restrooms have a separate winter timetable of 7 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.

What is available?

The approximately 21-acre passive park includes picnic tables, restrooms and walking paths, and is home to the historically significant transplanted oak tree known as Old Glory. The park is located at 25600 Pico Canyon Road in the unincorporated Santa Clarita Valley near Stevenson Ranch.

Normal winter hours do not guarantee the absence of weather-related closures or trail maintenance. Visitors should contact LA County Parks at 661-222-9536 to check current conditions and avoid remaining on site after the posted closing time.
